
According to the Illinois Higher Education Housing and Opportunities Act, a homeless student is defined as an individual who is enrolled in an Institution who lacks or is at imminent risk of lacking a fixed, regular, and adequate nighttime residence or whose parent or legal guardian is unable or unwilling to provide shelter and care. There is no on-campus housing at Prairie State College however, listed below, are local and State resources that are aimed to prevent homelessness.
Assists to lead individuals and families from homelessness to self-sufficiency.
